Part of our partner’s strategy to acquire a larger footprint within the national broadcasting landscape in Pakistan, is to create public service announcements (PSA) in partnership with the national government. The intention being to leverage favorable relationships that will facilitate the introduction of more Christ centered content.
The long-term strategy notwithstanding, we are elated to see that the PSAs our partner has produced are receiving positive attention following the submission of one of their COVID-19 PSA videos to the US embassy competition in Pakistan.
The video made it to the top thirty submissions for the national ‘One Minute Video Contest’!
Following its broadcast on the U.S. Embassy’s Facebook Page, their video received the first-place prize!
We are hopeful that more opportunities will flow from this victory, opening doors for broadcast on national television.
