Martien: “It is amazing for us to see that God is opening doors to spread the hope of the Gospel in Afghanistan. We work together with a faithful and reliable partner, who shares our mission and has had a public outreach for more than 25 years via radio and television.”
Afghans need personal contact after they hear the Gospel. In 2018 the counseling team had about 1,000 telephone conversations with around 850 Afghans. It turns out that Afghans need biblical education. Some are living very isolated, without internet access. Our partner has started with telephone coaching and plans to train more mentors. These people will share the Gospel with young believers and help them to grow in their faith and disciple them.
